Catherine Grant
Catherine is a Senior Associate Director and joined BMRB in 2000 on the MRS accredited Graduate Training Scheme. Having spent two years working in BMRB’s Business to Business and Media Research departments working on a number of customer satisfaction surveys for private sector organisations Catherine transferred to BMRB Social Research in 2002.
Since joining BMRB Social Research Catherine has managed a number of high profile surveys including the bi-annual Employers Pension Provision Survey (2003, 2005 and 2007) and the Employer attitudes to Personal Accounts surveys (2006 and 2007), both were surveys of businesses conducted on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions.
Catherine has also worked on the Infant Feeding Survey conducted for the health departments of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. This is a large scale postal self completion survey looking into the feeding practices of over 12,000 mothers of young babies. In addition to these projects Catherine has worked on numerous other surveys including a follow up survey of offenders, a longitudinal survey of the long term unemployed and a re-contact survey of BCS respondents looking at their views of a leaflet left with them after completing the BCS.
An associate member of the MRS, Catherine has a BSc (Hons) in Sociology from the University of Bath.
Anthony Allen Anthony is an Associate Director in BMRB's Social Research Unit and is the first point of contact for any queries you may have about this survey. Anthony joined BMRB at the start of 2008 and since then has been involved with projects for a variety of clients including the FSA. Prior to joining BMRB, Anthony worked for an independent research consultancy specialising in large-scale customer satisfaction research within the financial sector where clients included Lloyds TSB, Lloyds TSB Offshore Banking, HSBC and Nationwide Building Society.
Matthew Sexton Matthew is a Senior Research Executive in BMRB's Social Research Unit. Matthew joined BMRB in 2006 on the Graduate training scheme. He has worked on a range of research projects, in particular the British Crime Survey (a continuous, high profile survey for the Home Office) and has also worked on the 2006 and 2007 Personal Accounts survey and the 2007 Employers Pension Provision Survey conducted for DWP.
